High Rock Hamlet
This is a quick painting of what I imagine is a village somewhere in High Rock or in Skyrim’s Reach area. It’s inspired by a picture I took while on vacation in the Alps near Saint Bernard Pass.
Da Doctas Tour
Da Doctas Tour was an event for the Summer Festival of 2020, put on by < Da Doctas > guild with some help from the < Shadow Kingdom > guild. Though normally most of our Summer Festival exploits have been logged in our main thread on the official forums, this one had so many screenshots that I thought it easier on the eye and the copy-pasting to compile them here on my website instead.
Sky-Captain Castlehurst and the Devil’s Horn (Cover)
And so our story begins…pending once Castlehurst writes it, of course.
Valenwood Tree City
This was a quick sketch/painting that I made as concept art for Tamriel Rebuilt and some related mod projects. Though there’s nothing really special about this scene (it’s pretty generic for fantasy wood elves), I used it to exercise my landscape techniques.
Fire’s Shadow
This one stretched my abilities. I had an image in my head of a dragonhawk rising out of the fire the like a bunch of orange-tinged smoke, and though it didn’t really turn out like that picture, I think it did…well, alright. Not only is the perspective strange on his beak, but the painting involved a lot of use of contrasts to show shadows and shininess better. If I were to redo him, I think I’d use more gray on his body so his wings and tail pop out more, and there’s a few lines in the inking and silhouette that I’d go over again.
But yes, this is once again Sky Darkener, Keelath’s dragonhawk. Rawr.

How to Improve Epic Battlegrounds
So first, I love that we’re getting some of the older world battlegrounds (BGs) back as epic battlegrounds. Continue reading “How to Improve Epic Battlegrounds”
A Meeting in the Legerdemain
Continue reading “A Meeting in the Legerdemain”A slightly different take here, now. The next few posts to this plotline will be based on roleplay sessions held on both the official forums and an instant messaging program between myself and a few friends. Because there was no easy way to convert hundreds of lines of text into one narrative, I instead chose to preserve the forum-like format by sketching avatars for each character and roughly dividing the paragraphs between them. As this first part took up multiple posts on the official forums, I also broke it into several page breaks to make it easier on your scrolling buttons.
What do you think? Is this format easy on the eyes? Are there any tweaks you’d suggest to make it so? Please comment below, and in the meantime, enjoy!

Keelath and Sky Darkener
When I get better at backgrounds, I’ll probably come back to this one and add something behind them. In the meantime, here is a painting of Keelath and his dragonhawk, Sky Darkener. It’s another hybrid, where the lines are done like I would a comic’s, and then the coloring is put in with a watercolor brush.
As always, you can click on the picture for a bigger image–and I hope you do! It’s better that way!
